Am I Crazy? Would This Piss Anyone Else Off?
So I ordered the second season of House off of Amazon about a week ago. I received it today. It's... not in the best shape. It has a big dent in the right edge of the box, some of discs were not in properly, the corners were rounded, and it's a little... slanted. I'm not sure if you know what I mean by that but sometimes cardboard DVD boxes can bend towards a certain direction.
I'm not happy.... and certainly didn't expect this from Amazon, with them being the biggest online retailer and all. I'm not sure if it pisses me off enough to buy it in a store next time (probably $10-20 more expensive at Best Buy), but it certainly makes me mad.
Would it piss anyone else off?

Sounds like you have every right to go apeshit on them. Maybe that's a little too strong a term but it's totally not acceptable in the end. What did you do to it anyway?
Well, did you order it brand new? Like new? Or used?
If you ordered it as like new or used, then I can see why you got it in that condition, you got what you paid for. But if you did order it new, then send it back for a replacement or get your money back.
No, it was new. I went ahead and kept it because I don't feel like taking a week for it to return to them and then another week for them ship another back." They'll be lucky to get my buisness again (not that they need it!), hopefully I can find another place that has new DVDs for as cheap as them (that's not gonna happen is it?).
Amazon has been really good about exchanges for damaged shipments (I've had 1 or 2). Don't sweat it, just let them know and they should replace it w/ minimal effort. They usually go ahead and ship before they even get the return, if my memory serves me correctly.
It sucks, I hate it, but I can't hold a grudge against amazon, since they are very good about returns.
There's nothing wrong with Sir Hugh Laurie!
I ordered Deep Space Nine (Pretty sure it was Season 3) off Amazon and waited for over a week. Finally got the package and opened it and it was Star Trek the original series. I was pissed off majorly. I had to send the DVD back and wait another week and a half to get what i really ordered.
I still can't see how they mixed up Deep Space Nine and the Original Star Trek but than again they probably had a idiot packing my order.
If you bought it new, contact Amazon about the situation. I've heard they are pretty good about that stuff. Then again, I don't deal with Amazon often.
