Anyone excited for "The Book of EIi"

Thinking of going to see this Friday or Saturday.

Looks pretty awesome.

I vaguely remember the trailer.

Denzel is the shit

Frankly I don't know much about it to be excited for it. 

The film makers did Dead Presidents which was bad but had some nifty moments.  
I love Denzel Washington and the Post Apocalypse Environment.

Yes! I'm excited even though I have no idea what its about.

I really haven't seen any trailers or anything for it, but it's Denzel in a post-Apocalyptic Fallout-like setting, so count me in.

I like how genre-fad films come in pairs. Deep Impact and Armageddon. Volcano and Dante's Peak.

Now we've got The Road and The Book of Eli. I'm almost done with the idea of people traipsing across wastelands. Pretty much.

It's scored pretty lowly on Rotten Tomatoes despite what the preview's quotes have to say about the movie being 'revolutionary' and 'incredible' and sitch. Judging from the preview and the glowing one-word quotations it used to describe the movie, I'd be pretty excited. Judging from Rotten Tomatoes' usually accurate "tomatometer," I will likely pass.

Gary Oldman plays a crazy bad guy. Of course Im seeing it.

It looks pretty cool. I keep getting the feeling of it's Fallout the movie, which is not a bad thing.

For sure. I mean it's got Gary Oldman AND Denzel Washington AND a Post-Apocalyptic environment.

Saw the trailer in the cinema on Monday. Looks interesting :D

No.  I don't like Denzel (except in Man on Fire and Glory), and the Hughes Brothers have failed on everything they make outside of Dead Presidents.

I am interested in it a little, but not overly excited.
