Just wondering if I'm the only one in my city that watches endurance runs, and is a fan of the site.
Anyone from Fort Wayne, Indiana? Or close by?
I'm about 20 minutes south, in Zanesville.
im about 30mins south of fort wayne, in the great town of bluffton
hm, i dont know why, but i didnt know many people were in the indiana area, thats a dumb thing to think, considering that there are thousands of people on this site. but i always thought that most people were from california, new york, england, those areas. those are based on what i have seen on the site....

Anyways, I'm just south of you also, about 1100 miles in tampa fl.
Hm? Indiana?.. Yeah we have the 500 and IU. We also have Purdue and Notre Dame, Fort Wayne was the home of the NBA Detroit Pistons and some other stuff, Corn.. Larry Bird, James Dean...anyway.... It's good to see there are a handful of people around. When it comes to videogames though, this state is pretty dull.
@Bloviator: Yeah? Where at? I used to live in Lawrenceburg, IN and worked in Florence, KY.

I did meet John Mellencamp when I was in college in Bloomington. I worked at a game store that he and his Victoria's Secret model wife would come in to. She came there all the time, but he never did except one time. He came in to buy a game for his two sons. It was Sega's NFL 2k1, I think. They loved the place. The kids were probably eight or nine at the time. I remember that he handed me his credit card, and it read Edward Mellencamp. ;) I wondered at the time if Edward was his middle name. I heard later that it was, but who knows? Anyway, I was almost shaking (okay, let's be honest, I was) when he came up to the counter, and I realized who he was. My boss was a huge Mellencamp fan, so I didn't say a word, because my boss would have gone ballistic. I just sold him the game and knew that it would be a great memory. Afterwards, I told my boss. He was pissed I didn't say anything. ;)
