Arctic monkeys: Suck it and see

I think it's good, I still prefer their old albums though.

They are okay, their old albums where better.

I read about those guys in an English comprehension test a while back. As far as I understood, they were an indie band from England that were doing somewhat well. Never listened to them though.

Humbug was disappointing, hoping SIAS is an improvement.  They've clearly grown from their original sound, but I wish they still had a few tracks every now and then that were reminiscent of the first two albums.

Thought Brick by Brick and that chair song were utter shit, but the album as a whole is decent. Shes Thunderstorms and Reckless Serenade are the standout tracks for me.

Not a fan of the new stuff...

I liked the first two albums, it's one of the better rock bands of the 2000s I think. Hopefully SIAS will be good. I have my doubts though, since taking long breaks and doing separate projects usually doesn't lead to great music.

On another note, the soundtrack from the movie Submarine which has six original songs by Alex Turner (lead singer of Arctic Monkeys) is, in my opinion, pretty good.

pretty fond of their first album, even if it is a little tough to listen to (thank you for spoiling it, countless hack/rip-off brit bands). haven't heard anything from them in a while, tho. might have to give this one a shot.

I'm a huge fan of the band. I adored Humbug which seemed to be the most decisive of the albums. I haven't listened to Suck it and See yet but the two singles were pretty shit.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I'd didn't really like "Brick By Brick," but I have hope.

Huge fan of the band so very biased. Loved Suck It And See along with all their other albums. 
 
Very interesting hearing the different versions of Piledriver Waltz (album vs Submarine version) though I think I prefer the movie version.

I haven't listened to it all that much besides the free stream a week back. It's...ok. 
 
I gotta get my hands on it before I make a decision, but I wasn't blown away by Humbug either.

Loved 'em ever since I heard 'em. Ritz to the Rubble still gets me.

New albums are too expensive D: I love all their old stuff though, if that means anything. I shall now listen to it on grooveshark. Huzzah.

Why would they suck anyone who likes them? Have they no standards?

Never really listened to them.  My brothers did, but I never really got around to giving them a try. 
 
I listened to the Kaiser Chiefs for a while though.  Then they got boring.

I have never heard a song by them. This is going to sound really dumb, because it is, but their name totally turns me off. I just think that Arctic Monkeys is a really stupid name for a band.
