My first day at college begins in four days. It's a community college. My class schedule for first semester (with 10 credits to start):
General psychology
English composition I
Elementary Algebra.
All three classes are on Monday and Wednesday, and span from 11:00 AM to 5:40 PM. I know it's light.
Comment on my college schedule
I wouldn't really want to go to school if it were that little classes, but that seems interesting. Enjoyable too. Psychology should either bore the living shit out of you, or you'll really really like it (like I did, because my school lets me take the occaisional Community College course).

I plan to take a philosophy and history course later on. As for psychology, that's my intended major, so. . . .hopefully it'll be as fun as it looks.
"I think it's a list of courses. :D"Rofl. Why, yes it is. You're so smart, you get a gold star!

For me, I find that a really light schedule, but it at least lets you settle into college and get the feel of things. And if you're not an early bird, then I guess the times are alright. I personally liked my 8:00 classes, and tried to have them all over with by 11:00 or 12:00, so I could have the whole afternoon and night time free. And even though summer school sucks major A, it really does help lift the work load during the school year. So if you ever think about summer school, I would recommend it.

"My first day at college begins in four days. It's a community college. My class schedule for first semester (with 10 credits to start):Damn that's VERY light. I'm at Auburn and here 10 credits isn't even a full time student. I'm taking 17 but I'm probably gonna drop a class and bring it down to 14 because it's my freshman year. Calculus 1, English Comp 2, Introduction to Software Engineering, Introduction to Psychology, World History I, and a 2 credit Lab for math.

That kind of sounds boring. Community colleges have little to no student life. What are you going to do with all that free time?
"That kind of sounds boring. Community colleges have little to no student life. What are you going to do with all that free time?"hang out with us, here on giantbomb! :)
here's mine
Sounds good. I wouldn't take a class that ends at 5:45 personally. In my first semester I took Speech Communications (which was mandatory for all majors) and it ended at 4:45 PM. When I got home it felt like the whole day was done (not in a good way).
My classes are.
Monday:
Financial Accounting I - 1 PM - 2:15 PM
Tuesday:
Introduction to Computers - 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM
Intro to Political Science - 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM
English II - 2 PM - 3:15 PM
Wednesday:
Financial Accounting I - 1 PM - 2:15 PM
Thursday:
Introduction to Computers - 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM
Intro to Political Science - 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM
English II - 2 PM - 3:15 PM
Only 12 credits this semester. I took about 14-17 credits in my first two semesters and I just couldn't take it so now I'm at 12. Changed my major too which is why you see English II with a bunch of introductory classes. I'm just glad I have fridays off =D.
It doesn't sound like a bad schedule like mine it will probably have a lot of time in between classes. Which can be boring if you don't have things to do like homework.
Mine
Monday Wednesday Friday 11:15am-4:25pm
Microbiology
BIochemistry
Orgranic Chemistry
Tuesday Thursday 11:15am-7:15pm
Physics 2- Electricity and Magnetism
Physics Lab
Calc 3
Sociology
