I've been working out the past 6 months and its time for a break, i'm tired but its more mentally tired. I did get bigger stronger but i only gained 17 pounds. Shit's hard you really got put work into it and stay dedicated. Here's my workout plan

Day 1
Running
Mile on the treadmill/walk dogs/ sprints up hill ( 15-30)

Day 2
Cardio
Crunches (250-500)
dumbells sets of 15 ( 4 times )
pushups sets of 40 ( 3 times )
Benchpress 180 sets of 12 ( 2 times )
all this over crap

Day 3
Running 3 miles on treadmill
crunches

and so on

I used cell-tech hardcore actually really works well but i laid off for 2 months
and I use protein drinks such as mucsle milk.

So that's it I went from 160 to 178 i think my main problem is diet, so I'm gonna man up and forget being a vegetarian ( my parents never ate meat)

so does anyone else workout? I'm thinking about going to a gym so any help is appreciated.

I did use to work out....for like 2 months straight and I  put on a couple pounds of  muscle...but what I did was kinda like yours except I alternated a lot

Every day I would start off with running
- Then one day I would work on biceps and benching and chest...take care of the upper body more or less
- The next day, I would do Triceps and lower and upper back and I would do lower leg stuff...
It helps your muscle rest up and reform and all of that good stuff....

Also, benching really really helps you and it works real good...

Oh and I was 6' ~ 158lbs when I started working out...then I got to like the lower 160's...I think I hit the peak at around 165 but then again it could have been the beer..haha. Now though I am down to about 155lbs... :( ..but thankfully I still have somewhat of a definition so I am hoping that if I get back in the groove of things I can put on more muscle mass...that and I am 19..so the way I see it, pretty soon I am going to start putting on muscle naturally.

I used to go to the gym, but now I just run, I liked going to the gym, but I don't want to look buff, I'm happy being slim so I only run, and skate once in a while.

I don't really have a lifting routine, but I do lift weights. Most of my workouts are running. I usually have a few easy long runs, a hard speed workout, a hard 10-11 mile run, and a hard distance run, ranging from 15-20 miles.

My routine basically consists of just running daily then doing some crunches or lifting depending on my mood. I try and avoid the treadmill whenever I can though, running outside is so much nicer.

My exercise composes of walking to work, lifting heavy stuff for 5hours, then walking home. Every time I dread going there I remind myself I'm getting paid to work out.

I'll usually do about 200 thumb stretches to start the day out.  After that, I work on a slight stomach exercise called "energy drink breakfast".  After that, I take my daily walk to my car, then get some foot exercise with what I call "stop and go traffic in the city".  Once I get to work, I take another light walk into my workplace, where I then work on three other techniques:  keyboarding in forums, hand-eye coordination, and left-to-right neck stretches to non-chalantly make sure people aren't looking at porn or some shit on the computers.  I get up and walk around about once every 20 to 30 minutes, and at the end of the night, I put all of those exercises to use by playing Warhammer and getting snacks.

Yep *stretches arms out above head*...it's a tough routine.  Works pretty well though.

I used to work out excessively (body builder) but because of my hand/rib/back injuries (non exercise related injuries) I've been having trouble keeping up with my routine.

Here is what I typically did:

  • Start out with a 2 mile run or do equivalent amount of jump rope
  • Do 4 sets of dumbell curls/hammer curls as well as peak exercises (very effective)
  • Do 2 sets of bench presses in between
  •  Finish up with push ups (starting with hands in triangle formation finishing up with wide push ups)

Then if I'm not too tired I do a 45 minute chest workout finishing up with the same push up routine. However don't ever do so much in a day unless you've been exercising for some time (been doing it for 3 years now, lifting for 2). I do drink protein shakes from time to time and remember to eat eat and eat!

As for results I have an 18 inch right bicep and 17 1/2 inch left bicep, as well as a developed chest and abs. I have all the equipment at home, but may join a gym sometime soon.
