The Fantasy season is upon us once again and The Scout is anticipating yet another enthralling campaign ahead.

So far, there are plenty of new signings to consider for our 15 man squads, with Barclays Premier League newcomers such as Eden Hazard, Shinji Kagawa and Lukas Podolski all hoping to have the same sort of impact as Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero last time round, with the Argentine’s dramatic last minute title-clincher proving to be the defining moment of 2011/12.

Already, The Scout is keeping a keen eye on the pre-season schedules, scouring the Fantasy market for any potential bargains ahead of the big kick off on Saturday August 18. Over the course of the 2012/13 campaign, we will bring you two articles each week – every Wednesday offers a preview of the upcoming Gameweek and analyses any tactical tweaks from the managers in charge, while rolling out a variety of “Ones to Watch” to consider for your Fantasy teams.

After the action is finished, The Scout reviews the Gameweek gone by. Highlighting the key performers in each fixture in accordance with the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, we break down the Bonus Points and also clarify any contentious points of note that may have arisen during the previous round of matches.

Okay I joined.

So I think everything is okay. The Sexy Toads are ready! Now could you explain to me how this works? I never joined one of these before. Is it somewhat like Fifa's manager mode or...? Also the diffrent between head to head and classic league? I signed up for both.

@SexyToad: In the classic league you earn points, the more points you have the higher up in the standings you are. In the head-to-head league you're placed against a different opponent each week, you get 3 points for winning, 1 for a draw and 0 for losing.

• You can make one free transfer each week
• If you don't use the free transfer then you get two free next week
• Each transfer that isn't free costs 4 points, so if your team gets 76 points this week and you spent 16 points on transfers then you'll have 50 points which means you'll be automatically lower in the table standings, spending points on maybe getting more points from a specific player is a gamble

Put all my eggs in one basket and removed my Newcastle players, and put in Hazard. Only time will tell if that was the right decision, hoping for another performance from Michu and awarded the armband to Fellaini. This may be a poor week for me but we'll see.
