Finally bought an iPod touch :)

Been wanting an iPod touch for a while now and I finally decided to break down and buy one after they released the 3rd gen of units.  And I have to telI you, I love the damn thing.  It's amazing the quality and detail that they put into it.  I already put a bunch of apps on it and have been playing with it almost all day.  I also made a new wallpaper for it:
 

iPod touches are awesome, I was gonna get one but I decided to get a 120g classic instead.

Congratulations. My Touch may be the single best electronics purchase I've ever made, surpassing even most game consoles in terms of how much use I've gotten out of it and the functionality it has. I use my Touch every single day, it's always with me and even serves as my alarm clock now.
 
Here's a little tip that I use to conserve battery life. If you're listening to a playlist or a series of podcasts while falling asleep, use the iPod's timer feature to sleep itself in 30 minutes or an hour. Your alarms will still go off later on, but whatever you were listening to will stop playing when the timer expires. Very handy.

Make sure, whatever you do, you don't crack that beautiful, beautiful solid glass screen! I - stupidly - managed to drop my iPhone today. Thanks to the joys of Australian consumerism, its going to cost me a nice and easy $250-odd dollars to replace. Thats a quarter of the cost of the phone, I should add. Beware!

I do want one, but I would only be able to afford the smaller capacity ones. And I would fill that up with music in no time, and still have plenty left over to feel that it was a poor purchase.
