Giant Bomb Logo Treatments

I've done a few different treatments of the Giant Bomb logo/name and I want to keep em consolidated in one place so I'm putten em here. If anyone has any suggestions, go ahead and throw em out =D

I did a Castlevania one but I don't really like it because I couldn't figure out a good way to dagger the B in bomb. Still, here it is -_-;;

Those are both NES games and super oldschool. Here's one of a more recent game.

And here's one I did just today during Brad's new poison of choice.

I hope this is recognizable. If Giant Bomb had a number, wonder what it'd be....

This is the one I whipped up for use on the PAX Prime shirt I'll be handing out =]

My suggestion is Doom as the word 'Bomb'.

Edit: Actually, Ultimate Doom would work better, you could put 'Giant' above the word BOMB.

These are amazing! Really well done! I like the Demon's Souls one the most.

It's funny, I'm doing a project right now at school and I'm using a bunch of different game logos to represent a bunch of different bezier effects, and I too chose the classic green/red Castlevania logo for one of them.

I second the Ultimate Doom idea. The Metal Gear one is great too but it also makes me want to see a Bombsquad shirt done in the style of the Foxhound logo with Luchadeer replacing the fox.

I did a couple quick mockups of the DOOM idea and if the letters fit it'd look pretty hot but the M doesn't want to play nice. The big problem is that I think the iconic look of DOOM is the way there are 4 points along the bottom of the word and there isn't a nice way of fitting the M in where the second O typically is. It'd be totally recognizable once you do the texture work and the bezel but I still think it just wouldn't look right if the bottom didn't match up. I dunno, I'll take another stab at it from time to time to see if maybe I can futz the bottom to look better but seeing as how Giant would just be text along the top replacing Ultimate.... this one isn't lookin too promising =P The luchadeer replacing the fox on the the other hand sounds like something that'd be pretty snazzy but just thinking about it, the antlers might throw off the balance of the circular fox. ionoooooo~~

I'd love a new gb shirt but it might be a little bit weird having them be themed after existing games. Unless.... unless it was a dota shirt. =P

The original Logo for Papers, Please is freaking amazing. Thinking about it, maybe one of my favorite title screens of all time.
