Hey, I'm heading to Portland for the weekend, any suggestions on any things I can do while I'm there? Cool stores and the like? Living in Canada has left me unexposed to the wonders of American life, so any crazy things I need to try while I'm there, please let me know. Thanks.

Go to Powell's - a huge independent bookstore (takes up an entire city block) carrying tons of new and used books.  Great way to kill a few hours or a whole day.

If you're into old school arcade games, go to Ground Kontrol.  And if you like doughnuts, you have to go to Voodoo Doughnut. And yes, Powell's is HIGHLY recommended also.

@Romination:
Yeah, the main Powell's in downtown Portland is something like 68,000 sq ft.  The store is all color coded to help you find your way around, there are over 100 sections and over 3,000 subsections.
