Heyo bombers, I'm moving into my own apartment soon before I start my job, and I have no idea what to do for internet.  It seems like Time Warner is the only real internet provider in my area.  What I want to know is what internet speed do you guys recommend.  I use netflix, and hulu occasionally, and I play on xbox live.  I also use torrents from time to time.  The offers are up to 10 mbps, 15, 30 and 50.  Will 10 do, or do I need to bump it up to 15?  Thanks.  If you need more info, let me know

10-15 seem good for what you'll do with it.

It really depends on the cost.

EDIT: You should bear in mind they're selling up to the stated amount, so 10mb may only get you 4mb/s, for example.

Mine tops out around 2.5, but I have no lag when I'm gaming online, and I can still stream Medium HD quality on Netflix.

You don't need anything too insane. I'd say 15 should do the trick, considering that it isn't exactly 15 Mbps all the time.
