Too tired from celebrating Taco Tuesday? Well, tough, because this particular date (October 4, 2017) is National Taco Day! Created by someone who is definitely not working for a marketing firm for Taco Bell to celebrate one of the most American foods, the Taco! Enjoy them in tortillas? Shells? Al pastor? With or without cheese? Using beef/chicken/pork/tofu as your meat? Making your own, or buying from one of those nouveau food trucks with combos that should not exist for twice the price of a normal restaurant? How do you take your taco?

If that's not your thing, today is also National Vodka Day, to celebrate the most American of hard liquors (at least if you buy from Deep Eddy's). So grab a fifth of vodka on your way to picking up a Grande Meal from Taco Bell and enjoy both on your way home!

In Sweden it's national cinnamon bun day today, and I guess I prefer to celebrate that.

I made a post about how it's also my birthday and Giantbomb said "not a post" and didn't post anything. What?

Nah. That was my plan too the moment I saw this thread and realized that Taco Day was a real marketing thing. :-P

As I am not from your nation, I was not familiar with this holiday. Do you get the day off from work? I will not be having tacos today, but cinnamon buns sound nice... unfortunately I probably won't have any of those today either. Although I did have fish and chips for lunch!
