We just need a way to know everyone else's name. Think about it. Every time someone you don't know pisses you off you have to pick a describing factor about them in order to tell them off in your head.
For example if someone cuts me off and I look and see they're Armenian, I'm probably going to be muttering, "fucking Armenian driver goddam asshole." BUT if I knew, for instance, that his name was Narek, I would be muttering, "fucking Narek goddam asshole," instead. My hatred would be focused rather than generalized. That way the next time another Armenian cut me off I wouldn't be thinking, "fucking Armenians need to learn how to drive." I would be thinking, "fucking Narek and Lucine need to learn how to drive."
Once we all get microchipped and HUD contact lenses we'll be set. It will be like walking around in an mmo with everyone's name floating over their head.
I know how to solve racism
" @Toms115 said:i disagree" @Azteck: two of the most painfully boring names. it's nearly 2011; get creative. "But that's how they remain universal. There's a reason for the name John and Jane Doe "
i just refer to a stranger that has done me wrong in some way a "douchebag", "shithead" or "fuckface" but unless someone has done me something very, very wrong, i associate race with the name calling
"But do we all REALLY burn the same?WHAT IF WE SET EVERYONE ON FIRE
THEN WE WOULD ALL BE THE SAME
"
Yes, yes, I suppose we do. I'll get started on that... Right after some Minecraft.
" Or how about your typical racist southener? "DAMN MEXICANS TAKING ALL OUR JOBS" or "DAMN JUAN, PEDRO, JOSE...................................... TAKING ALL OUR JOBS" Racism is just a time saver in your scenario. "
;)
My problem with racism is that, for example, black people don't like white people to use the 'n' word, but they themselves are allowed to use it. how can you ever expect quality under those circumstances!?
another is the 3 letter abbreviation of japanese that ive sometimes said when im trying to convey a lot of information quickly and am using short cuts and abbreviations to speak shorter sentences. i didn't even know that one was racist until someone told me... oh well.

I think racism has mostly to do with looks. But that kind of racism is about people who are born and raised in the US. If you are ethnic looking you just are not going to make many friends outside of your own group. But there is other racism about people who just don't get it, people who are born in other countries and come to the US later (FOBs).
" I was hoping someone would say "get rid of the blacks" as I joke so I don't have to. But they didn't. So... Get rid off all the blacks? "Reminds me of one of my Anandtech posts. :p There are white gangs, so I'm not sure where you are going with this black comment. According to Obama there are more poor white people than poor black people in the US.
" @Skytylz said:Words are not what bother me about racism. Words don't matter unless they are coming from some public official or some celebrity. Being treated differently, all the passive aggressive stuff, and subtle ways of cheating others are what make racism cruel." People complaining about racism are keeping it alive more than the actual racists. "This, people are people and there is no way to stop racism. So just stop letting the words be offensive. They are only words, they only hurt if you want them to. "
Ok I'm going to have to add to that. Words do matter in some situations (work place, school, official documents etc.). But in private situations words don't matter. I think.
I disagree that there is no way to stop racism. I think there are several approaches, long term and short, and at least one of them will be largely achieved (in the U.S.) within my time. That way is arrived through education." @Skytylz said:

I agree that people who bring up the matter in this fashion are only perpetuating the problem.
Edit: Also, the original idea of this thread is invasive, tyrannical, and ridiculous.
Don't worry about racism, it will die with the generations, it hasn't even been a century since blacks got rights, the psychology is still evolving. If theres something to worry about , its those idiots who use the word nigger as a racially exclusive word. When you hear it used today, its obviously being transformed into a word close to "bro", yet when a white person uses it, he is irrational and racist. I despise such ignorance. Words evolve, it used to be used to undermine the black person, its now used to purposely separate blacks from whites, and worst of all, this is mainly done by blacks.
Soon the color of your skin will be equalized with for example how big your nose is(for the record i used to get made fun of for having a big one).
I'm pro mandatory name tags for everyone. I'm fucking terrible at remembering names, and it would make life so much easier at new jobs or places if everyone had a name tag.
