Personally I do not, I try to avoid all dvds now that I own a ps3. The only dvds I own are the original star wars movies, arrested development seasons 1-3, and futurama seasons 1-4.

Movies that I already have on DVD are pretty low on the list of what BDs to get, so yeah. That and there are still a lot of movies that aren't on BD.

I own a Blu Ray Player (PS3) but never watch Blu Rays. DVDs are fine and the quality isn't that big of a difference to me. I can stand watching a movie and not seeing the actor's pores.

I'm actually watching the dark knight again now, trying to recalibrate my hdtv again. Yeah, I watch like a new blue ray movie all the time, I have a ton.

Trust me half the site hates blue ray movies and has a bunch of misconceptions about it.

Not all movies are worth owning on BD.

Swapped almost all my stuff out for BDs, I am a hardcore audiophile....and that audio makes a huge difference.

Plus I am a sucker for BD cases.

Blu rays are still too expensive most of the time.  Most movies aren't worth the 30 bucks that they are trying to charge.

Typically I can find DVDs to buy for less than the rental price of a BluRay, so watching something on DVD makes sense. All things being equal, I'd obviously go for BluRay.

Meh, I'm still happy with regular DVDs.  The difference in quality is great and I could easily use my PS3, but it's totally outweighed by price.  I like my DVD collection and I can buy movies dirt cheap because of blu-ray.

This. The sound on my setup is insane, dvd comes nowhere near it.

Only if it's something that is not available on Blu-ray, and won't be for a long while.

Physical media (in terms of movies) is dead.

I do.  A number of movies I want to watch are not yet available on Blu-ray, and in the event that my PS3 breaks, I still have my DVD player tucked in a closet as a back-up.

I just bought Rain Man for $3. I love it because personally I think DVD quality is still pretty good. I would never get the DVD for something like The Dark Knight or Pixar films but for older movies I have no problem. Also TV shows are great on DVD, they cost significantly less than blu-ray versions of the show.

This is a strange one for me because I never really bought DVD's. I either saw the film in the cinema or rented it. But now the sparkly HD visuals make we want to own Blu-rays. However I do own a copy of Advent Children on DVD.......and Blu-ray. <Hangs Head>
