Interesting article on Avatar

People actually thought that Avatar rip offs the smurf? WHAT THE FUCK. That's weird as hell.

I don't think it is anything like the Smurfs. If it was a ripoff, it would be more like Thundercats when they said that in the article.

There was a book written a while ago in which Man goes to Mars (I think) to mine a rare mineral (destroying beautiful nature in the process) and encounters natives who are blue, centaur creatures, and so they get a soldier to hop in an avatar to spy on em, then he ends up joining them. So yeah, James Cameron ripped the shit out of that.
