I barely ever go to the movies anymore (the only movies I've seen in theaters this year have been Watchmen and Harry Potter) but this is definitely a must see for me.

I've got no idea on actual numbers but whatever it is, it's massive.

See, I thought the trailer looked alright. Looked like a fun B-masquerading-as-A movie (or is that the other way around?).

1.5x.

You know, I just realized that I've hated Woody Harrelson ever since Larry Flynt came out.  About the only time I didn't totally hate his guts lately was A Scanner Darkly, even though Robert Downey Jr. stole that movie!  Man...I really DO need to see this.  It seems like he's got a bit of that White Men Can't Jump attitude going on.

Hey what about "Capitalism: A Love Story"? And "A Serious Man"? Zombieland looks good, but these seem far better.

Where The Wild Things Are IS coming out soon, isn't it?!  Man, I almost forgot.

As for Capitalism...Michael Moore can go fuck himself.  After saying that...I'm imagining how nice it would be to be able to speak "The Word" just like Jesse Custer right now...

I thought it was dumb too, until I saw those reviews. That's pretty surprising. I'm actually probably going to go see it this weekend.

Capitalism isn't getting NEARLY as good of reviews (and thank God, because Michael Moore is a fucking hack).  A Serious Man is sitting pretty well, but nowhere near No Country for Old Men or Fargo were getting.  I still wanna see A Serious Man though.

However, the point of the topic is this:  are people going to see it, and are people shocked that this is...apparently...ACTUALLY A GOOD MOVIE?!  Also, this is Ruben Fleischer's first major release movie!

WIld things comes out on the 16th
It sounds like Moore goes after Obama as much as anyone else in the movie, in case that's what your problem is.

Looks like a lot of fun, I will probably catch it in theaters in a couple of weeks. Reminds me a bit of Dead Rising for some reason.

See, same here!  I thought the trailer looked like a bunch of stupid shit with a stupid story and stupid cast pushing too hard to be funny.  I was completely unaware that people would be putting it in the same league as Shaun of the Dead!  I mean, I saw the potential of this being a cult hit, where people are like "Zombieland is underappreciated" and blah blah blah...but I never expected the reviews to say things like:
  • "All killer and no filler"
  • "It earns itself a place on the same shelf as such classic as Evil Dead 2 and, yes, Shaun of the Dead"
  • "The secret in this case is the jokes, which are ferocious"
  • "Debuting director Fleischer's action-and-innards-drenched film dials it all up to 11 from the opening credits sequence"

I won't see it in theaters, but Woody Harrelson with a cowboy hat and a shotgun killing zombies definitely interests me. Not usually my kind of film, but I think I'll watch this one. Glad to see it's going good reviews.

I'm surprised after that awful trailer. But I still don't want to see it. I might wait until it's released on DVD or something to rent it.

Wow. I also thought this movie was gonna suck. Never judge a move by its trailer I suppose.

Yeah, that trailer looked atrocious in the most way possible. Shocking, but I don't think I'll be able to go see it.

I'm shocked as well because I thought the trailers looked awful. I may check it out.

Yes, because, every movie that has to do with zombies and comedy in it is definitely a rip off of Shaun of the Dead 0_0.

I'm shocked at how many people thought this would suck.  From the first time I saw the trailer I thought it looked like an American Shaun Of The Dead with Woody Harrelson, what's not to like?!?

I thought the movie looked like a film aimed at tweens that was rated R. In other words, a pretty big failure. I guess not.

I have a friend who works for Regal so I got to see a pre-showing of it last night. It was awesome. Go see it. Now. Why are you still reading this? Go watch it...
