I like Naruto, but unless this thread is about the games, I don't see why you couldn't have this discussion at AnimeVice. You could get more positive responses there.
Ya know, I wanted to like Naruto, it's not a bad concept for an anime, but they drag the story out so goddamn much that I had to stop watching. The one awesome episode for every ten crappy ones just isn't worth it.

@The_Laughing_Man: Sure I have. DBZ obviously has the same problem, but I think they kept things moving a little better than Naurto. Little being the operative word.

Read the manga then. Much better, although it drags down somewhat too.
The last Naruto manga chapter was awesome!

Yeah, it was ridiculous at times. The major fights took an average of 10 episodes to conclude.
True that it is inconsistent, but it is a fictional show in an imaginary world, much like others. Still it has deep thoughts to it, like the question of how to unite people.
Kushina was the previous jinchuuriki was awesome! And how Naruto refused to destroy the Kyuubi.
I wonder what we will find out how her relationshiped worked with the Kyuubi. Naruto and him had a kind of "if one dies the other will dies so I will help u but I still hate u"
And what is Saske doing? I totaly forgot about what has been happening with him.
