So I'll be gettinga new phone soon, and I need some suggestions. Despite the wonders of Apple's iphone, I still think it's mostly a gimmicky piece of shit. However, I would like a phone that is advanced in that kind of way, like some with the Android OS.
New phone duders!
I dont have any friends so i dont need a phone, but if i did i would get this. It looks cool. IDK if it is real or not though.
Try the new Nexus One? I hear it's awesome and it's getting awesomer through updates. Things like multitouch and stuff.
One word. Droid.
I have an Iphone 3GS. Your preconception regarding the phone doesn't suit it. Yeah, its not open source, and you have to do everything through Itunes for your phone. But its the best damn phone on the market right now. If you have the ability to get the Iphone 3GS, I would very much recommend it.
I sell phones and I think blackberry makes the best equipment. Very good signal reception, call and sound quality are great, easy to get apps and very good support if you have any software problems. HTC has come a long way too, HTC Touch Pro 2 is a very nice phone and the newest HTC that we carry, However it has Windows mobile and I am not a fan of that.

" @DCFGS3 said:How is it not gimmicky? It doesn't do anything special, and almost all phones have apps. Besides, you'd be stuck on AT&T's piece of shit network." If you get good coverage with T-Mobile, I'd recommend the Nexus One. It's a very fast, smooth and fun phone. Sure the apps aren't there, but you can listen to Pandora and read your texts/emails on the same time with that thing. Try to do that on an iPhone.
