Poll : Do you collect Toys, Models, and/or Swag

Just curious to hear peoples thoughts one the subject.

No, I have no interest in collecting things. I've always had a big interest in acquiring real life items whose origins are within games, though.

I don't like anything that unnecessarily takes up space, so no.

Video Games - No, I have a few things like a Teddie Plush and some games.

NHL Stuff, handful of Jerseys.

i dont but i kind of admire people who do and just dont give a fuck about the money and space it costs, that shit is swag

Nope, tried getting into Warhammer figurines and sort of started painting some, but it just never really caught me. It took up space and was kind of.. boring

I collect toys/action figures. Mostly movie and tv stuff, but some comic book stuff. Nothing video game related at the moment.

Well I don't collect. When I here collect I think of trying to own every one you find. I like to buy some cool figurines and so on but I'm not a collecter.

I always thought guys collecting anime and manga female chicks with big tits to be pretty creepy. But hey, that's me judging people.

Nope. I gather more than enough junk as it is without actively trying to collect it :P

Have a whole bunch of LotR models I need to paint one day, and I do love collecting liquor bottles. Not just the whole 'bro look at what I drank' think, most of my collection I didn't taste a drop of, I just really like the look of them.

I used to buy a ton of toys but within the last couple of years have moved away from them and more into statues and busts. I voted B because I still buy the occasional figure, such as the humans from NECA's Gears line and also because I have gotten to where I mostly only want one or two things from a property. For instance, I have the Sideshow Collectibles Shepard PFF on order and that will be my one ME piece and a Lich King statue that will be my WoW piece.. The main things I still have multiple items of are the Gears humans and Star Wars minibusts of the various Sith.

I have a massive comicbook collection, I haven't added anything to it in 10+ years but I would never get rid of them either.

I collect video games and drinking glasses. If I were to see an instance where drinking glasses were also video game swag then I'd be sure to jump on that opportunity.

Nah. I've thought it would be cool to collect Transformers or something, but I have to consider my wallet. I probably will never get into collecting for that reason alone.

I collect anything Batman Related I can afford to get lol except for the action figures... never had an interest in collecting action figures.

I like to think I collect swag, and random video game related junk. I have whole drawer full of swag, I should just auction it off or something.

This the only real "swag" i have on "display" .

Mister chief is pretty cool and I like his hat.

I use to collect comic books and comic cards.

I collect toys/models from video games, film and comics (Spawn, X-Men, Uncharted, Aliens, Prometheus, Evil Dead, Dexter). Not Anime though... now that's just creepy.

I collect Zippo lighters, guns, knives, flashlights and watches. I like to collect things I can actually use day-to-day, so it's more for practical/fun reasons than it is to just stick something in a case or up on a shelf.

Certain Transformers figurines, not all. I try to complete specific toy lines I like. other than that, i guess steam games.

I collect a lot of debt.

I have a collection of comics, but I hesitate to say I "collect" them because that implies I let them sit on a shelf and don't read them. I don't buy anything I won't read (or watch, or play, or listen to). I think my favorite is a copy of Beasts of Burden signed by the author and illustrator, plus a copy of the Hellboy crossover they both worked on.

As for swag, I do have several gaming shirts (including Ellis' t-shirt and Chell's tank top, both of which I wear on a regular basis) and some toys. I recently got the Archimedes plush from Team Fortress 2, who is sitting on my bed as we speak. I do have some restrictions, though. I don't buy cosplay prop weapons or any swag over $100 unless it's a must-have, just because I'm low on money. I also don't buy any dirty anime figurines, but that's just because they'd make me feel weird displaying them out in the open.

Well obviously from my user name I am completely obsessed with Rocky Horror. I collect anything remotely related.

Also I collect Disney figureens, trading cards, odd comics (old tv shows, video games, disney, anything not super hero related), video game memorabilia though collection is not too extensive right now. I have an ocarina soon to be 2 :D, a hypo needle from Bioshock, Love is Over edition of Catherine so I suppose Vincent's boxers, pizza box, and Catheirne's shirt, and I made myself a companion cube from Portal.

I am collecting consoles (trying to get one of each major classic one), and in my search of thrift stores for said consoles I have been buying alot of Nerf guns that I have been seeing, specifically the N-Strike ones that have futuristic designs. I'm think I'm done with the nerf, since I found one of these motherfuckers.

Nope. I don't have space for that stuff. I have no room for anything as is. Having trinkets everywhere would just clutter my room even more.

Nope. But I arrange my games and books on shelves to look good and that's pretty much collecting.. so yes??

Before I posted this poll I would have guessed the Yes option would outweigh the No options. I am finding this very interesting.
