Anyone as hyped for this album as much as Lang? Dropped late last night and haven't got a chance to listen to the whole thing. Anybody got early reviews? How does it hold up compared to the first album?

Listened last night, made me want to put on a ski mask and light cars on fire. In other words, it's really good.

Shit I preordered that package with the cd and shirt, also helped fund Meow the Jewels. So yeah, as soon as I get off work that thing is as good as downloaded.

It's the perfect album for the times we're living in. I just saw them Wednesday night and they hinted it was dropping very soon. Didn't think it would be THIS soon.

@pie: I haven't heard what Lang's thoughts are, but last night on the live stream he could hardly contain himself.

Listened to after I got home from work. It says something that this release is the first thing I've paid attention to in hip-hop in a while. I should probably get down to a show when they come around. Also, Meow the Jewels sounds ridiculous and I'm glad it's going forward.

It's pretty good, I wound up making a playlist with both albums back to back, and I've had it going all day.

Hard as fuck. Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck) is probably my favorite track.

These guys are my favorite rap group now. Killer Mike is the Truth! Seeing them on November 4th in Atlanta. Super Hyped! Any other duders planning on going?

@negativecero: I'm right there with you. I used to listen to hip-hop all the time and this is the first full album I have sat down and listened through end to end in awhile.

Finished listening to it. I think I prefer this to the first one. I've only had a couple of listens but the album has far more variety both production wise and lyrically.

Definitely one of the best hip hop releases of the year, holy fuck these songs can knock people out! El-P and Killer M goes hard on every single track. I can't decide if I find it better than Piñata, but it is without a doubt up there!

Best rap album since good kid, m.A.A.d. city. If you somehow slept on that album, by the way, sit down and pay attention to that one.

I gave it a listen. I don't like the new sound of hip hop at all.

The beats are real solid, and the flow is good, but the lyrics are kind of bland--De La Rocha does more in his one verse than they do in a whole album. It's good to listen to but I don't know if I'll be going back to it frequently.

Fantastic album. Said it before, El and Mike linking up is one of the best things to happen in music.

R.A.P music and both run the jewels albums are just fucking great.
