How often do you plan on doing this podcast? For a beginner what would you say the best kit is? I am currently looking at the glass kits at http://www.northernbrewer.com

@YoThatLimp: Glad you are enjoying! We will be doing the podcast once a week, probably on Wednesdays. I will look into the kits for you; Northern Brewer is typically overpriced.

Yeah I know, I put the .wav up for streaming purposes. I will see if I can host the .mp3 elsewhere - I am looking into regular podcast hosting for the future.

I will be migrating the files over to Bandcamp later tonight for perma-hosting. They will be free to download and you will be able to download in whatever format you choose.

After finishing it up (was stuck with a bit of work) here are a few thoughts:

- Decent sound quality. Are they two different recordings merged or is it a skype recording? If it is the latter, it is quite good.

- Good banter, joey seems nervous, it was entertaining for someone with 0 brewing experience.

- Both of you have voices that work on podcasts

- I love that you are thinking about releasing these on Wednesdays, it fills in my podcast gap during the week, hah!

@YoThatLimp: It was a Skype recording! Glad you thought the quality wasn't terrible! Thank you for the compliments. We ended recording last night psyched to record another episode. Hopefully enough people will continue to submit questions!

This is point-for-point the comments I was going to make. I feel like I've got to reiterate how great the audio quality was, though. There are some well-established podcasts that sound like a huge mess compared to this one.

So the bad news is that I can't upload .mp3 files to Bandcamp, because they require lossless uploads. However, I can't upload the .wav file either because it is too big and I don't get my upload cap increased until I sell $20 worth of tracks on Bandcamp. So, looking into alternative solutions. If anyone has ideas, let me know!

@Brewmaster_Andy: Can you encode it as ALAC or FLAC and then upload it? Or is that still too big?

Put the track up for $20 and buy it yourself?

@Brewmaster_Andy: Another option would be to go with Libsyn. It's a pretty popular hosting service for small podcasts. It is a paid service though.
