The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya

Has anyone seen this movie? I'm a huge Ghibli fan and this release completely flew under my radar when it was released last October, possibly because it wasn't a Miyazaki directed film. It was just released in North America and is receiving glowing praise by everyone, but apparently the movie didn't do too well overseas. I haven't seen an animated film look this gorgeous in awhile. Definitely need to go check it out.

I fucking need to see this film! Like, physically need it. Unfortunately I don't really think it will be released in my country, since not even The Wind Rises arrived here...

It's out here in Australia in limited release. It's pretty outstanding. That said, I work at the distributor handling it's local release so take my word with an entire salt shaker if you like!

I really hope that this gets a UK release, this film looks all sorts of gorgeous.
