Things to do in Las Vegas...
Flying down to Vegas to get married this weekend and then spending a week on honeymoon and looking at things to do when friends and family leave and we have some time to ourselves.
Gambling, drinking & adult fun money will be exhausted before the week is out so looking at things that won't destory my liver or wallet to much.
Also if anyone knows of any unique/massive gaming or computer stores I'd be interested to check them out too seeing as though the Canadian$ is worth as much as the US$ these days.
Any and all suggestions welcomed, thanks.
I could also know what to do in Vegas but when you're on your own. Long story short, I'm meant to be going in June and, assuming the situation remains as it is, it'll be just me for most of it. I'm thinking of wearing a cheap suit and being a charming barfly somewhere but I don't even know if that's possible.
Got 45 people flying/driving in from Alberta, Nova Scotia, BC & Australia so it's going to be a clusterfuck untill Monday when people are starting to leave. So far: Strippers on Thursday, Golf on Friday, Wedding on Saturday & friends 30th B'day on Sunday. Gambling thrown inbetween all those events I guess. Then Monday - Friday is free time basically.
I do like the idea of driving a car I will never be able to afford, TO GOOGLE!
Check out Reno and Clark County.
Congrats, hope you both have a lovely day & week, and life together.
There was once upon a time,on our friend Doug's bachelor day,we went to Vegas, and got drunk so fucked. We woke up,and we couldn't find Doug.We meet Mike Tyson, meet some weird asian dude, and much, much more fucked up stuff.
" Check out Reno and Clark County. Congrats, hope you both have a lovely day & week, and life together. "Vegas is in Clark County, and Reno is quite far away from it.
If you want something cheap to do and don't mind leaving the strip, Red Rock Canyon is only a few minutes outside of Vegas and it's fantastic. Good hiking, biking, or just a nice drive if you take the scenic route loop thing. No boobs though, unless you bring your own.
One super touristy thing to do there that is cheap is going to Hoover Dam...honestly, it's not very exciting, but if a big hunk of concrete is your kind of thing, well, it doesn't get much better than that.
