Trying to convince my parents to let me subscribe.

Here's the thing. I'm a fifteen year old who's been using this site for a year. I've watched pretty much all the videos, and listened to all the bombcasts. So, obviously I want to support the guys who have provided me so much entertainment. Trying to convey this to my parents is tough. I'm not trying to mooch off them, I'd literally pay them back immediately, but I have to use their credit card. They still are using the logical approach and seeing they I'm not exactly getting value for my money. I think the value I've got is all the stuff from the past they have provided and I really want to listen to the bombcasts on time, but they don't get paying for a website since the only other websites that charge are all porn. So, is anyone else having trouble convincing their parents? Any tips?

Tell them that this is a special website which was intended initially to bring down the US government and restore power back to the people.

Parents love when their kids get new clothes, so just say you get a really nice T-Shirt in the deal (and really, $50 for a T-Shirt alone these days isn't exactly unheard of). And you're not lying about it!

Alright, here's what you do...first convince them to buy you a gun, right?   ...THEN use that gun to convince them to get you a subscription. It's a fool proof plan.

Tell them that this will keep you off the porn.

Here's my opinion:
Be rational and mature about it all.
Show your parents that you're mature and that you will pay them back. Don't beg, or whine, and above all: Don't steal the credit card.
Now, you might have already been doing this, which is good. If they still say, "No." then you're just going to have to deal with it.
 
Just keep in mind that you don't need a membership.

Tell them that you like the Beatles, and that if they dont give you the money you might conform and start listening to the filth that is played on the radio this day. Seriously, its a good argument

'cept my parents are probably gonna say no, since they aren't very hot with videogames or comics

When I was your age, I was subscribed to GameSpot. It was never really an issue. 

Parents can't and probably won't understand this.  Good luck duder!
