VIDEO GAMES QUESTIONS@!@!@!!!!@@!@
Alright so this is not meant to be offensive or in any other way taken to be in the wrong way, yes ONE OF THEM IS CONTROVERSAL.
This is for my Algebra 2 project so please bear with me. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1=Strongly Disagree and 10=Strongly Agree, 1.) Do violent video games make people violent? 2.) Can people learn cognitive (mental, problem solving) and/or motor (hand-eye coordination, driving) skills from video games? Post both of your answers and thanks for helping!
It has to do with data and how it relates to box and whisker charts, bell curves, and mean median mode. Its to show how to organize and present data through a survey
Just as a pointer, it's not going to look very good when you have to prove evidence for your findings. Also, using peoples names, or aliases requires a debriefing after the investigation is complete. Doing it anonymously allows you to gather massive amounts of data with little or no paperwork afterwards.

This is a good site for doing all this kind of work.
Thanks for the tip, its not that i have to gather evidence if that was the case i definitely would not be doing it on here, but more a neutral area, i just need the opinions in numbers so i can actually work it out mathematically, its not that i'm trying to prove something for the teacher. All he wants is the math part.
Depends on the person. Not everyone is affected by the same things in the same manner. That's not the kind of answer you wanted, but that's what I think.

for me.
There are many cases of people using videogames to help recover from physical trauma. As well, there have been studies that show the positive effects of some types of games on cognitive reasoning. So yeah, definitely.
Violent videogames = violent people is just bullshit people use as an excuse for their poor parenting skills. Maybe people should spend some time with their kids sometimes instead of blaming videogames when the kid builds a bunch of explosives in his room and then blows up a school.
I agree with you, parents should spend more time with their kids, but kids need to also want to spend time with parents for it to work
