I'm really sad that nobody has mentioned Happy Endings. All 3 season's are up on Hulu if you have it.

@djmc: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend may be the best TV show currently running. There, I said it.

I fell out of watching sitcoms for more than a few years, but got back into a few thanks to Community and The Good Place. Anyway, here's my Top-10.

  1. The Dick Van Dyke Show
  2. The Simpsons (Seasons 1 through 10 only)
  3. The Bob Newhart Show
  4. News Radio
  5. The Muppet Show
  6. Faulty Towers
  7. That Girl
  8. Futurama
  9. Barney Miller
  10. I Love Lucy

@oldguy: I'm old, too.

The Young Ones was amazing. That, Jam and the Swedish 90's show Varan-TV are the only shows I can think of that I still enjoy rewatching.

YES! Jam is fucking wonderful. Have you ever listened to the old Blue Jam radio shows that was a precursor to the TV show? Just full of interesting music and fucked up sketches.

  • Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law - "Fatty Grunt" is part of my almost daily lexicon. Very quotable and still very funny.
  • Archer - Seasons vary in quality, but the highs are so high that they make up for any middling moments.
  • The League - The last season was not great, there was a lot of going through the motions, but on the whole it's one of my favorites. The guest stars were great, imo, and whenever Taco sang it was awesome.
  • The Office (US) - Love the show all the way through.
  • The Kids in the Hall - Edging out The State, SNL and a lot of other stuff for sketch comedy, The Kids in the Hall has a special place in my heart. I watched it with close friends in middle school, most who I no longer see, and it just reminds me of being younger and having no cares. It's also still funny as heck.
  • Night Court - Love it and I have a new appreciation for it since I've worked as a court clerk for the past ten yours. I now get to tell people that my job is kind of just like what Mac does on Night Court. :D

I have a lot of stuff that I consider close but not quite making it. In no particular order 30 Rock, Community, How I Met Your Mother, Frasier, Wings,News Radio, Perfect Strangers, Welcome Back Kotter, Get Smart - I could go on and on if I sit here long enough with just runner ups to the main list.

Peep Show's my number one, no question about it. Otherwise, everyone else in this thread has pretty much listed a lot of my other favorites.
