Medabots was awesome. Remember Goriongo? That was random. I don't know why I remembered him. Maybe 'cause he was a gorilla medabot and his name's funny.
The majority of anime on Fox Kids was garbage in my opinion.
It's mostly due to censorship issues. I think Digimon and Sonic were their best ones.
Digimon - Violence
Tokyo Mew Mew - I remembered the cross was edited out and some relationship between two guys were toned down.
From Shaman KingOne Piece - It was butchered. No blood, no beer labels, weapons were edited funny, the death of Nami's mother was terrible, and more. They animated her corpse.
Shaman King - violence, crufix censorship, Chocolove's lips were edited to be thinner, KKK censorship in the vampire hunt, and the names were altered to avoid Japanese names. Like Cased Closed (Conan).
It's the same for Kids WB. Look at Pokemon and Yugioh.

Cartoon Network did pretty much that with animes late at night before Adult Swim. Starting at like 10 or 11, IIRC, they'd show some more mature anime that the FCC wouldn't really see fit for a kid audience, with a lot less censorship. Obviously there are certain things they'd still have to cut, like certain terms and certain...gratuitous images, but from what I could tell they left them a lot more intact than the Saturday Morning blocks did.
@Example1013: Which is weird as what is there in escaflowne to censor? But then again we had the uncut showing of the entire Sailor Moon (again no censorship , no weird rewrites to sailor Jupiter /Saturn relationship , sailor stars etc.) Also we even had the uncensored Dragon Ball /Z (Yep we got to see naked Bulma , all the guts from Freeza etc) , Saint Seiya .... ah I miss those good old days in mexican tv :(

I haven't actually watched Escaflowne, so I can't say for sure, but likely blood/violence and possibly crudity and sexual content. For the Toonami edits of DBZ they cut out all the "damns" and, like, when Vegeta gives someone the middle finger, to make it more palatable to the FCC for a kids' programming block. For the Rurouni Kenshin thing they did, they either moved the camera off-screen or went to black in order to dodge all the bloody messes from that show. I'd imagine they'd do a similar thing.
@Aetheldod: There was some violence, the fact a big part of the series has a war going on, some mature subject matters to it like adultery... the censoring was mostly them trying to change the target audience, as 4kids has tried to do more then once. It's not Gundam Wing or anything, but they were taking a show meant for teenagers about Hitomi's age, aka 15-16 or so, and then make it for 10 year olds.
Most 4kids censoring is silly, and I still wonder what they were thinking with Shaman King (at least One Piece is getting a good dub now from Funimation) but Escaflowne was the weirdest choice I still think. It wasn't butchered like Card Captors or anything, but why try to pick up something you want to aim at kids 5 years younger?
.....I did like Sonic X a lot. Yeah they changed stuff but I was okay with the edits, and some things like Rogue's music killed me every time. Plus if nothing else, wow does 4kids know how to make a catchy theme song.
But uuuuuh, if but I knew the language! The amazing things I've heard about mexican dubbing, with Saint Seiya at the forefront of that <3 Another thing to toss in about US censorship is we are waaaaaay more fine with violence then even the slightest bit of sex. Which is very messed up, but yeah. You also have someone dying being worse then damning their soul to a hell dimension? the US edits for YuGiOh make it so much more messed up.
Without a doubt mexican dubbing is one of the finest around , many times I think they improve over the original japanese cast (and Im not saying this because of my countrymen , I really mean it as a consumer , altho like in everything sometimes is so god awful that I rather have a drill into my brain :P)
But why try to change a program into something it is not??? That is just dumb imo :/
Medabots GBA game was pretty sweet too was it Rokusho the one who used a cloak? Metabee latin american VA was also pretty good ... oh man I need to watch that series again!
