Can someone please help me? My iPhone just randomly stopped working one day. It doesn't let me use the screen, only the home button and the lock button work. When I reset it, it shows a bunch of blue and red lines vertically across the screen. I can't tell my parents, can someone please tell me what's wrong

Did you try the hard reset by holding the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears?

I hate to tell you this, but it sounds like it's probably a hardware issue. If you're lucky enough to still have your phone under warranty (and this wasn't caused by a drop or water damage), getting a replacement from Apple is relatively quick and easy. If you aren't under warranty and it's just the screen/digitizer, you could probably handle replacing it yourself. Otherwise, you may need to take the phone to some sort of licensed tech that can diagnose the issue and do the repair.

It's not Nexus 6. Rorie, mark this question as answered and shut her down.

@niko23: yeah, it just restarts but it doesn't let me do anything:/

@Chaser324: Okay, thank you. I'll probably just have to do what you said and take it to a licensed tech.
