Which email do you guys use? Gmail? Outlook? Yahoo? I haven't logged into my old hotmail account in a while and was rather shocked how nice outlook.com looks in comparison to what I remember. That account is only for spam and what I send that sites that barrage me with garbage. My gmail account is my personal account. Never tried yahoo, wonder how it compares?

Gmail. I'm guessing most of the world does. My work e-mail is Lotus Notes or something and it's horrible.

@vierastalo: I was giving a bit of thought switching from gmail to outlook or yahoo. But perhaps it's not worth it.

I use Apple's mail, works great. I use a grand total of 0 google services, so the usefulness of gmail (which I assume has something to do with integration with other google services) is nonexistent for me.

My university uses GMail for their email system, so I use that for most things. I also have a Hotm--I mean, Outlook account I've used for years I use for non-grad school related things.

Outlook, only because that's hotmail now. I have way too much stuff tied to that hotmail account to want to change it.

Gmail. I switched to it a while ago for the Archive thing. I don't know if other email providers have that now, but it's a super useful feature. Basically instead of deleting your mail you just archive it, which removes it from the inbox but if you ever need it again you can search for it.

I hear a lot of people complaining about how yahoo does ads now on their email. Outlook I have a account for, but it's my spam account.

I created a Gmail account the other day. I've been reluctant to use anything Google-related for years because of all the privacy stuff that makes the news, but I decided every other company probably does similar things and it's just not reported.

Hopefully that's a safe assumption.

Outlook for everything. I don't like the Google interface, I feel like I don't have enough control and I have to go to too many different places to do stuff.

Gmail. One for personal and another professional.

Been using Gmail since it was invite only many many years ago. I just don't see any reason to use something else. Spam filter works great and the service just works. No clue how the web version even really works though nowadays. Have been using Outlook with it for the past 5 years or so.

Gmail, Yahoo, and there's a hotmail one or something that I haven't used in forever. I actually think Yahoo had a better UI than Gmail before they changed it/copied them last year.

Gmail all the way, for both college and personal e-mail.

I used to use Yahoo! in early high school, but switched to Gmail when Yahoo changed their layout. Now I have no idea why I ever used Yahoo to begin with--it's hideously cluttered. My old yahoo address serves as my "site I don't really care about probably sends spam but I can't sign up without an e-mail address" go-to.

I use Yahoo, Gmail and my campus e-mail, but my time of using the last one for anything significant is pretty much coming to an end since I graduated.

several. All of the usuals, and a work one, and an ISP one, and also another from a domain i own.

I have one special one, though. It is approaching 15-20 years old. Maybe closer to 20, I am not entirely sure. I know for a fact that it is at least 16 years old as there is a review of a beginner's cheap electric guitar I wrote as a teenager in 1998 still listed and accessible on the original site i posted it last time I checked. It is a Netscape.net email account. Over the years it has changed ownership a couple of times. By ownership I mean the larger umbrella company that runs the servers it is hosted on. Right now it is owned by AOL, however, any email directed to the original Netscape email address still goes through just fine.

One of these days I secretly wish to be the last remaining person with an active Netscape email address on the internet. :p

gmail, i have a hotmail and yahoo accounts for junk though. I check my yahoo one so rarely that it always asks me for reactivation or whatever.

I dont use email for much though, just the standard sign up stuff and verifcation nonsense. Hell the only personal emails ive gotten lately has been a friend of mine sending me papers for me to read before she submits them. Trusts my opinion and all that (not for grammar though)

Hell i only check my gmail like twice a week.

I have old Gmail, and Hotmail accounts I keep around because there is tons of crap registered to them along with my mandatory university email account (which is just an Outlook365 account), but now I use an email associated with my domain, and I have up to 50 accounts associated with that domain now if I want (it is bundled in with my web hosting for my site). It works quite nicely and has a bit of a professional touch (We've all heard about people hiring judging people by their email. My email is pretty much just my name now).

In reality, all my various emails get piled into Apple's Mail application in one giant feed that gets synced across my laptop, phone, and tablet. I never check email when I am on my desktop (desktop is for games. Macbook is for work. I make sure I am strict about this split) so I haven't set up a non-Apple variant of everything being mushed together yet.
