I have my reservations about Pathfinder as a system, and the storyline doesn't look like it could be more cliched if it tried (oh, one person gets superpowers and has to save the world? Amazing!), but graphically this looks like a marked upgrade from Kingmaker, at least. Curious to try it out in a few months!

I still need to finish Kingmaker. I put almost 100 hours into it and dropped it. That will be a tough game to get back into...

This does look very good and I actually like the Pathfinder system. Isn't it basically D&D 3rd edition? I really like the old infinity engine games and this is the closest modern option for one of those.

The decision to stick with the 1E rules for this was 1000% the right call.

While I'm personally pretty burnt out on Pathfinder 1 rules . . . . they are what a group of people I enjoy playing with like to play so it's nice to potentially have something new.

@toastman: If I recall correctly it's a bit of a fork from D&D 3.5-ish era. Neverwinter Nights 2, effectively, with some tweaks. Could be wrong, though.
