What do you want to add to PlayStation 4

The title basically explains itself. If you can add a feature, hardware, software, or anything in-between what would you add?

I would add system wide clan support. Meaning, I create a clan on Ps4 and it's automatically a one and only clan and games that have clan support can automatically have your clan in it if you want it to be there.

Its kinda hard for me to think of one, but a feature where people can leave strategies, and reviews about games on the psn store would be somewhat cool.

Twitch streaming and the Xbox One's force feedback triggers.

This. And, for both consoles, I'd like to be able to install and play without a disc even if it requires I remain online while I play the installed version. I just didn't like being forced to in the Xbox One's original plan. I want it to be optional is all.

Joke aside maybe a looking for group feature that have similar interest but on the platform level to add on the friendlist . Something that existed for s long Time in MMO.

Seriously? A keyboard / mouse option could be really handy (they might even have support for USB keyboards i don't know) I just hate typing messages on controllers.

Optional complete install for every disc based games. Even if they still require the disc in the drive to play it doesn't matter. Those Last of Us loadings are abysmal.

@pr1mus: That is due to the x1 speed BluRay drive the drive in the PS3. The PS4 is much faster this time around at x6 speed so games should be able to access data at a much much higher rate.

@demoskinos: Yeah but games will continue to get bigger and have more data to load. This is a problem that will come back over time. That would also help preserve the hardware i guess.

I would like PSN games to be playable and ready to go day one on PS4.

They could be the ones to really step up and provide a platform for all of Playstation, properly playing anything from their entire catalogue you throw at it.

The only thing I can think of is force feedback in the triggers like the Xbox One has. It's a super interesting feature that I feel is going to be horribly underutilized by third-parties since the Dualshock 4 doesn't have it.

Backwards compatibility for all Playstation games. I know it won't happen but it would be the best. I don't want to have to have three consoles sitting around if I want to go back and play my old games.

A way to play games online, or not have their online aspects, locked behind a paywall. When it comes to games I'm about 99% PC, but there is always the odd game or two that looks like fun that never comes out to PC so I still have to buy consoles eventually. I can go months at a time where in I never touch or turn on my consoles because of this. So I refuse to pay the online fees for something that is just sitting in a corner that I will never touch outside of a few times a year for a couple specific games. There being an online fee means that I'm less likely to buy a game that has an interesting online aspect because I don't want to have to pay that premium on top of it. It's one of the main reasons my 360 has been in a box collecting dust in a corner somewhere for years now.

I would also like a little speaker in the controller. I think the idea of being able to have specific things come out of that is super interesting and could be a fun way to screw with people in tense situations or to make background audio more engrossing.

EDIT:Oh and backwards compatibility. I refuse to buy a PS4 until I get through my current backlog of console games. For christ sake several of them are PS2 games. I can't justify to myself buying a PS4 when I still have games on my shelf from two generations back.

@pr1mus: I believe full game installs are mandatory on PS4, just like Xbox One.

As for the OP, I think your system wide clan thing would be interesting. I don't really get into guilds/clans, but if I could just do it once and have it set for all games, that would be great. I would gladly join a Giant Bomb clan.

The force feedback of the Xbox One controller seems interesting as well. Not necessary in any way, but I could see it being implemented in the future.

Edit: Oh and being able to bring my entire PSN library from PS3 to PS4 would be fantastic, but I understand why that is a bit of an issue.

Backwards compatibility... Definitely.... I have no desire to buy new digital games on PS3 because I feel like the lifespan of those are limited now.

A more extensive and useful "Block User" feature. The ability to block one user, all users, or just block a user for a particular game. Accounts that have been blocked by ten (or more) other accounts are flagged so you know before you accept Friend Request from such a person. I want a system that is easy to use, reminds you to rate other user accounts, and provides more data.

I want a system so that if I flag someone in a multiplyer game for boosting ro cheating they are AUTOMTAULLY put on my Block user list.

If Ustream fix the mess they call a layout I think it's a more reliable service than twitch. I love twitch, but some streams lagging on 480p makes me a sad moogle :(

I'll be happy if Gaikai streaming works well, especially if it's included in the PS+ price. I spend more time playing old games than new ones, so instant access to 3 great console libraries would be a huge added value for me.

You would really only need one Blu-ray drive. There are Blu-ray formats that have several layers on a single disc.
