Overview
Gallagher's Gallery is a comedic full-motion video light-gun shooter developed and released by American Laser Games for arcades (using Amiga-based ALG hardware) in North America in 1992.
A "shooting gallery" game hosted by the comedian Gallagher (best known for his "Sledge-O-Matic" routine, where he smashes produce and other food with a large mallet in front of the audience), Gallagher's Gallery features a variety of mini-games set in four areas (Food Store, Gadget Land, Sheriff's Office, and Play Room). Along with normal score play, it includes an optional video redemption setting for ticket dispensal.
Unlike most of the games made for American Laser Games's LaserDisc-based hardware, this game did not receive any ports or re-releases, making it one of the company's rarest games.
