Everytime i get on, its like 60 something thousand people on Team Deathmatch and about 4-5 thousand on Capture the leader or Warzone. All of you, stop it....stop it now!

I'm sick of joining Warzone/CTL games with bots. Its really fun why you all no like it?

Capture the leader all depends on how good your leader is not your skill and the games can go on forever.

But whatever, don't let the white man bring you down.

Warzone is amazing.

Warzone is more-or-less obsolete with the addition of Team Deathmatch. I mean, it has its own merits, but if I want to kill dudes without Execution rules, then I don't see any reason not to play Team Deathmatch.

I play Team Deathmatch when I'm solo, I'll play Capture when I have a posse.

The problem is the game doesn't always reward you for playing well, it rewards you for gaming the system. Seems like people are constantly stepping in front of you to block the shot and take the kill... or not getting you back up for fear you'll impact their personal score by being a live and effective.

The sheer speed of games in TDM on Quick match is one of the more addictive aspects, as time is pretty much non - existant the games just keep rolling on, and on, which is why I think TDM is more popular.

No ones really liked warzone since Gears 2. Everyone would always vote execution. Ive always been a fan of guardian/capture the leader though.

Practicing quick match TDM before moving into Ranked Warzone, I've always been very fond of Warzone.

I find it quite the contrary as Warzone seems faster.

If there's Team Death Match, that's all people will want to play.

I still love Warzone although I have to admit I have been playing a ton of TDM. People stealing kills is a hell of a lot more frustrating in Warzone bc there's only five opponents, where as in TDM, chances are you'll be able to get another kill. You also have more opportunities to try to steal one back from the person who stole one from you : )

King of the hill is where it's at so I play that.

Your typical online player just wants to kill stuff and get a good K/D ratio. It's a bigger problem when playing online on consoles but it happens on PC too.

This thread sums it up pretty well. Capture the Leader is impossible without a team. If you're just pubbing, good fucking luck. You'll get a bunch of twelve year olds who have no concept of what's going on.

I guess winning is no matter anymore. It's not a bad mentality per se but the magnitude on how players focus on K/D is questionable.

CTL is one of my favourite game modes to pop into, but all these leaders aren't maximizing their full potential. Charge into the enemy! Kill the enemy! You are the leader! You are immortal! RIP AND TEAR!

Because those gametypes require more patience and tactics. A lot of people just want to shoot stuff.

Team Deathmatch is the first one the list. That's why it's the most popular.

That, and the fact new players to the series don't know what the hell Warzone, Execution, etc even are.

Now that i've started playing Ranked im getting frequent disconnects similar to the beta but less frequent, in the past hour or so i've been disconnected 3 times, it also removes points for Ranked disconnect :(

Just play ranked matches. I get in games almost instantly and all I play is Warzone.

execution and warzone were the only reason i bought this game. but they are completely broken with the double barrel. Ruined the game for me. I just want to finish the campaign and move on at this point.

CTL is a terrible smoke grenade war lol.

They took one of the most played gametypes from Gears2, Guardian and combined it with the least played, Submission.

Well team deathmatch is the simplest mode and I boot the other modes up if I wanna play more seriously

I mostly play King of the Hill and Wingman.

By the way, why does the Wiki say that Annex is in the game? I think they baked Annex into King of the Hill. I guess no one has updated that part since the beta.

Warzone is literally no fun. Plus, you don't get many kills or points since you can only kill 5 people before the round is over.

Capture the Leader and KOTH are my favorites.

I actually love to play CTL but its hard to jump into public games since most of the time there is very little coordination. It's pretty frustrating when in a game the leader in your team is basically content on staying behind and be on his own, being too over confident on his own skill, so you end up with long unnecessary stalemates wherein your stuck with the enemy leader while they also have your leader as well.

I feel like warzone doesn't really have a place, because people will just play either TDM or Execution. It's sort of stuck in the middle.
