One of the PSP's finest titles to date

I've been a PSP owner since it's release in March of 2005. For the longest time I only owned one game; the PSP's library (if you could even call it that) of games wasn't very appealing. During the past few months I've dusted off my PSP and bought a few games that I've heard to be the cream of the crop. God of War: Chains of Olympus is one of those video games.

Having never previously played any of the other God of War games, I was curiously excited. The visuals needed no introduction. Playing just the first five minutes I was instantly hooked. The idea that everything playing in front of me was running on a PSP blew my mind. The blood flowed like wine, all the pieces just fell right in place. The gameplay felt like all the other hardcore action games that I've enjoyed countless hours playing: Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry to name a few.

God of War: Chains of Olympus boasts everything any action whore could want in a blood-gushing video game. There's even puzzles! Just when you think your zombie brain is rotting from mindlessly tearing your enemies apart, you're asked to solve a little puzzle every now and then. Move a statue here, reflect light over there, etc. While it's nothing new, it's very welcome to keep the game fresh.

This installment of the God of War series has a lot to offer and certainly shouldn't be missed by any PSP owners. All you need in a fine video game is bundled up and laser etched on a single UMD.

Once again, players take up the mantle of Kratos, the notorious Ghost of Sparta, during the early years of his service to the gods. The main story of the game is that Helios, the god of the sun, is knocked from sky and Morpheus, the god of dreams, is slowly taking over the land. So, the gods task Kratos with returning Helios and his chariot to their rightful place. But as the story progresse...

Chains of Olympus does not dissapoint. 0

When I first got CoO I had read heaps of Gamespot and IGN revews saying how dissapointing this game was, so when I got it I had my doubts. But when I started playing CoO those doubts vanished. I will tell you why...Like all God of wars so far there is a complex and intriguing story, it is a lot more focused on Kratos's past and family like the first God of War game. This game is set before the first two games where Kratos is a servant of the Gods of Olympus, and is still trying to rid himself of...
