God is the deity worshipped by the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, which each have their differing interpretations of Him, though all agree that God is the omniscient, omnipotent Creator of everything in the universe. Christians, and to an extent Jews, also believe that Humanity was created in His image. Interestingly, other than saying that specific bit of information, that Humans were made in His image, no religious texts ever dwell on the appearance of the divine Creator. The popular image of God as a robed man with a long white beard was borrowed from the Greek god Zeus. In fact, the etymology of the Latin word for God, Deus, is traceable to the name "Zeus" as well!
