    Overview

    Goubakuran: Rumble Storm is an erotic sci-fi 2D vertical-scrolling shoot-'em-up developed and published by StudioS in Japan for PCs on April 18, 2019.

    A retro-themed shoot-'em-up with pornographic cutscenes, Rumble Storm puts players in the role of Reika, who rushes into the forces of mechanical creatures using the state-of-the-art starfighter XEX (which converts the pilot's emotion from orgasms) to rescue her partner Yui. An "all ages" version was released at a later date, removing the eroge elements (with the XEX now powered by the pilot's mental energy).

    The "all ages" version was later ported to the Nintendo Switch on July 29, 2021 as Buraigun: Galaxy Storm. It was released worldwide as part of Gotcha Gotcha Games's Pixel Game Maker Series.

    The erotic version was also ported to arcades (using PC-based Hawt Pink Club hardware) on July 8, 2022 as Goubakuran: Rumble Storm X.
