Past engagements with the GTA series landing on PC months after their console launch already confirms it's existence. Rockstar are just being coy about it.

1. Release GTA5 on consoles
2. Deny the existence of a PC version of any kind
3. Wait until everyone bought the game on consoles
4. Release the superior version of the game on PC
5. Look and smile at all the people buying it for PC (again)
6. PROFIT.

Just because it was coded on PCs and there is an internal PC build does not mean they will release it. There is constantly garbage code left in games, this is not proof.

They're just codes they're using for internal build info. So [PC] cannot be immediately extrapolated into assuming it is a PC version.

It's going to happen, it's just a matter of waiting for the official announcement. It was "confirmed" the second Rockstar said "Hey, GTAV is going to be a thing".

Could still be a reference to something other than "Personal Computer". It might refer to a certain build, or it might just be in-office lingo that someone who doesn't work at Rockstar wouldn't understand.

Don't get me wrong, this is kind of hopeful, but the PC version of GTA V is not confirmed until Rockstar says "Hey, we're making a PC version!"

You could probably find rumors like this referencing a PC version of Red Dead and we all know how that one turned out.

This isn't new information, nor does it indicate anything about release possibilities. MGS: Ground Zeroes was (and probably still is) being explicitly demoed on a PC. Kojima stated as much in several demo sessions. Is this confirmation the game is coming to PC? Of course not. Is it even confirmation a Fox Engine game will come to PC? No. Xbox One games were photographed as being demoed on PCs at their kiosks. This is also not confirmation they will come to PCs.

Games are generally built and demoed internally on PCs. So, even if the initialism PC stands for Personal Computer in their internal lingo, the fact that the game was running on a PC when they were building it really doesn't prove anything at all.

no.... Rockstar would have to confirm it themselves and it would have to be released. For all you know those notes could be really old and it's actually cancelled. Or maybe its in development but gets canned down the road. No, it isnt confirmed, but it is seeming like a strong possibility.
