A LucasArts adventure game that follows skeletal travel agent Manny Calavera's four-year journey across the Land of the Dead in a film-noir-inspired tale of love, betrayal and corruption.
Is this without having to jump through hoops to get it to work, it's just I've heard many people having to download stuff like SCUMM VM to get it working?
If you can't get it to run on its own try the Grim Launcher (supports both XP and Vista64). It also allows you to play the game windowed and from a harddrive.
I ran Grim Fandango on XP without the Grim Launcher without any problems, so I'm sure it's not necessary. It also ran flawlessly on Vista 32-bit (using the Grim Launcher), can't confirm how it performs on 64 though.
I have it running in XP32 SP3. I copied the files to the HDD, used a zip file patch and then used compatability mode. I've tried using launchers but I get stability and audio problems with them. No problems from just running the executable though.
