I've seen my fair share of H games, and this looks like one straight up, so is it one? If not then the art choice is all kinds of a bizarre. I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least a handful of obvious innuendos.
Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
Game » consists of 7 releases. Released Dec 18, 2003
The fourth game in the Growlanser series which takes place in a separate world with a stand-alone story.
This an H game?
Why, because you've seen Another Lady Innocent? It's the fourth game in a series, all of which have had the character art done by Satoshi Urushihara.
It's definitely not -- at least, from what I've played (about 8 hours). There are an awful lot of dialogue options though, and every party member has an affection rating. With 8 endings, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some romances, but I wouldn't stake any bets on it either.
The art style is the worst, but if you can look past it, the dialogue is good and it's probably the best JRPG I've played on the PSP. I swear, if it had modern anime art rather than the crazy fantasy huge-breasted anime vixens of yesteryear, it'd be amazing.
But yeah, there's not going to be anything explicit on a handheld game, generally speaking. At the very least, not out of Japan. I don't think there are any eroge on the PS3 or PSP, not including homebrew.

I could not disagree with you more. I love Urushihara's art and think it works great for this game.

It's not pornographic. I don't know what would even begin to give you that idea.
Just anything done by Satoshi ever.
The guy is a professional illustrator in the same vain as Tony Taka (T2 for short), you can find TONS of hentai from these guys so they only have themselves to blame that people associate their art style with pornographic content first and art second. Anyway the art or packaging is the first thing to grab people's attention and despite people applauding the story left and right everything else like the lack of variation in facial portraits, combat and in-game graphics are a total turnoff.
I realize that, but at the same time, it's a T rated game. Just because an artist does a lot of adult work does not mean everything they create is adult.@Hailinel said:

@Hailinel: Agreed. The head artist behind Valkyria Chronicles, Raita Honjou, also creates a lot adult material but that does not make every he works on pornographic. Satoshi Urushihara has created his fair share of strait up porn but he's also worked on plenty of "family friendly" stuff, such as Bubblegum Crisis, Cybernator, and even the original Transformer TV show. But yes the artwork in Growlanser is very sensual and I understand how that can turn people off to the game. I'm not bothered by the artwork or the game's out-dated presentation and I'm having a lot of fun playing Growlanser IV.
