I was thinking about getting it via download for the Vita but a gift card for Gamestop made up my mind for me. I am enjoying the game though, even if it's on the ol' PSP and not the pretty Vita screen.
I just got a UMD copy of Wayfarer of Time and I've only played a few hours but I'm surprised at how briskly paced the story is. I'm so used to JRPGs having very methodical stories but Growlanser is moving right along and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

"Briskly paced" might be an understatement, this game has more things happen in the first couple of hours then most do in an entire game. If the game play continues to ramp up the strategy, and the story keeps even half the pace it's on, this game could be really, really good.
@oldenglishC: Agreed. However I said "briskly paced" because the game has a fast pace but it's not rushed. It sounds like an odd thing to compliment a game on but Growlanser is moving at just the right speed.
I saw this in a gamestop a few days ago. When I saw it I was like..."Is this a porn?" Because afterall, the art style is identical to "Another Lady Innocent", a hentai porno as it is the same artist.
