Guardians of the Past is a local and online multiplayer battle arena with elements of strategy and building. Players compete in a selection of themed arena's each with their own environmental challenges. Each player takes on the role of a "Guardian" a hero taken from their own world forced to prove themselves in a battle royale using weapons and gadgets to defeat all the rest.
Players are able to customize arenas to their liking with different traps and contraptions before the battle. During the building phase, players take on the role of robotic drones that are used to build gauntlets for the Guardians to be put to the test on. Launchpads, bear-traps, flamethrowers and much more unforgiving and brutal traps that can be combined for maximum effect.
