I'm a sucker for inspirational stories, so you'll forgive how mind-blown I am by the real-life influence for one of the NPCs ArenaNet has inserted into Guild Wars 2. Community Manager Regina Buenaobra has posted a blog briefly describing the cross-country adventure of Kelly Wells and dog Anna, and how her visit to ANet's Seattle offices struck some of the developers. Just spent an hour or so reading this. Takes me back to my family holidays in the UK, specifically Devon/Cornwall and Snowdonia. I've toyed with the idea of doing an Great Britain coastal path trek thingy since most of our coastline is now has coastal path.
