I've finally bought Eye of the North. It's been about a year since I've had a good game of Guild wars.

If anyone's out there... what's a good place to start?

theres a snowy first area. I forget what its called but you naturally go there first if you follow the story stuff. I would probably look at the wiki and see what ai helpers you wanted to get first and concentrate on that. Not that any of them are as cool as Koss. I have a level 20 paragon. I wouldnt mind playing some guild wars myself. It gets reeeeeeeeeeaaaly hard in the gwen dungeons.

Go to Lion's Arch and follow the quest that appears. It'll let you start your journey to the Eye of the North from there. I forget which city you need to go to for the quest to trigger in the other two campaigns. It'll be self explanatory once you reach the actual Asura Gate station and go through a brief tutorial.

In short though keep in mind that everything in EotN is designed more as a group challenge rather than a solo encounter. Don't be surprised to find yourself humbled a few times, even with heroes and henchies equipped, by the beasties in that region.

And for the love of god stay away from the 'wurm' infested area.
