I honestly doubt that anyone will check this forum, but I just wanted to comment on how much this bugs me.
 
We all know "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, that insanely hard song from Rock Band 2. 
It's in GH: VH (wow, that's kinda fun to write), but the six second beginning (and IMO, song-defining) drum solo is absent.
 
All I can ask is why? Seriously, why? I don't know why it bothers me so much, honestly, but it reminds me of how half-assed this game is. I'll eventually write a review of this game (probably when it releases in retail) but I just wanted to vent my frustrations here on the GB forums.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  When I played it in GH Van Halen I noticed I breezed right through it and went over to Rock Band and struggled.  I really wish I could see both side by side to see the differences but the Guitar Hero version seemed much easier.

That's terrible. Another senseless change to a song... and a song that is infamous on RB2, no less.

Why would they edit out what makes that song awesome?

Yeah, and the game sucks. 
 
 
...not to be "that guy", but it really does.

I love Guitar Heroes; I first played 3 and continued from there. Aerosmith sucked; World Tour was, even if others don't agree, good; Metallica was unbelievably awesome; since I never played 1, 2, and '80s, Smash Hits was good; and 5 was a big step in the series. But THIS game, even though I haven't played it, sounds abysmal, especially since they cut the difficulty out of the song; sure, they faced legal issues, but if RB could pass the issues, why can't GH:VH? Hopefully Guitar Hero will pass this game by and make some great sequels. Otherwise, RB, which is also a great series, will wipe my memories of GH away.
