    Overview

    Gunsmith is a weapon customization system that allows the user to control every component of their gun. Ubisoft touts the system to be capable of creating more than 4 million unique weapon systems. The system allows for a level of customization that extends beyond the normal reach of the common shooter. The customization ranges from the standard changes to optics, barrel attachments, under-barrel attachments and magazine extensions to the gun's gas system, stock, and muzzle. If the user would prefer not to customize to that extent, they can select the game to "optimize" for their desired specifications (ie, short range, long range, covert).

    Kinect Support

    Gunsmith supports Microsoft's Kinect. This includes both voice recognition and motion-based input. It is reported that all of the customization allowed by Kinect integration can be performed with default controller input.
