    Just noticed I have 400 extra points and I don't know where they came form. Im guessing it was a gift for beta members but I want to know if you guys in the beta got it too.

    It probably came from xbox rewards. If you buy things from the store then you will get a certain discount back depending on how many points you spend. Say I spend 1600 points in one month, you will get maybe around 300-400 points for that month

    according to wikipedia it was only active for like a year and the url doesnt work anymore

    It's for being a loyal Halo 2 player I believe. Is that how you got your code? I remember an additional 400 points coming with that.

    Uhhhh, I've never heard of Xbox Rewards. Microsoft sent out 400 points to everyone who has played Halo 2 as a "we're sorry its shutting down" gift. I'm pretty sure that's all this is.

    The Xbox Live Rewards program is still running... once in a while I get e-mail notifications on the status and amount of point I'm getting. I think the last one I got was for 240msp.
