I just bought Halo: Reach today and for some reason my wireless controller seems to disconnect when I fire the DMR. Now this doesn't happen when I fire any other weapon, it also happens in multi-player on occasion as well. My battery power is full (first thing I checked). Is this happening to anyone else? I've never had this happen to me for any other game.

Damn that is really weird. Never heard of that problem. Go check up on it on the Googles.

@BongChilla: Maybe it's the way it vibrates? Try turning vibration off.

Never had that problem, although my controller won't vibrate whenever I play halo reach. Any other game it vibrates just fine, not for halo reach.

I had that problem twice with wireless controllers while playing Super Street Fighter IV. Maybe the cover for the batteries is too lose. After that experience, I kick it with wired controllers all the way.

It sounds like this is almost certainly the cause, it's very unlikely to be anything on the software end.
