    Hey all
     
    I have a friend who cant join xbox live play.  This guys live connection has worked fine for all the other games weve played, mainly COD games etc.  Never been a problem.
     
    However, now when he tries to start a matchmaking on halo reach it gives him the error "The Halo: Reach server is unavailable at this time.  Please try again later."
     
    This happens also when I am in matchmaking, which will allow me to play, then i invite him in and it gives me this error and we cannot play.
     
    Also, he could never play Halo 3 either on live for the same/similar reason.
     
    Any ideas about this?  We're stumped and the internet isn't helping us very much

    Added info.  Can play the campaign in coop, but is laggy as hell.  Red connections.  :S

    @barnstable: Fuck thought I was the only one. Well mine isn't as bad as yours and it hasn't happened in Reach yet, but happened loads in Halo 3. Can you connect to his parties/chats? The only way I found around this is make sure both of you aren't on any other internet capable devices then turn off your Xbox, restart your modem and it should work. For a long term solution check your Nats are make sure both are open.  Good luck in your fight against Quiblarg.
