    Halo: Reach

Game » consists of 13 releases. Released Sep 14, 2010

A prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, chronicling one of the most cataclysmic events of the Halo Universe through the eyes of a squad of Spartan super-soldiers known as Noble Team. It is also the last game in the series developed by Bungie.

I was gonna justify my purchase for ODST

Wait, did you buy a copy of ODST just to get into the beta?

No, but I was gonna justify the quality, or lack there of, of it with the beta.

So...why not judge the game based on the quality of the game itself and not on the quality of the beta experience?

It was more of a joke.

But yeah, you can probably tell I didn't like ODST, and the beta not working was the cherry on top.

Why didn't it work?  If it was supposed to, then can't you take it back for an exchange or refund?

Paying for multiplayer content you might already have and a postage-stamp campaign, sucks. I just borrowed it from someone (who also didn't pay for it-bundled game).

I'm curious as to how it didn't work, considering that it seems to have worked for everyone else. And all the people that keep talking about how short the campaign was probably didn't like it before they played it. I've played plenty of other games that not only were shorter, but were nowhere near as good as ODST. Also the Mythic disc not only contained almost the entire Halo 3 game (sans the campaign), it also had all of the map packs including one that was only available through ODST for quite a while.

@calidan777: New games are released for between 80-110 usually, except for budget titles.

So how many "Australian dollars" make an "American dollar"?
edit: I just looked for myself and they are pretty close which tells me that y'all are getting screwed over there big time, something needs to be done about that shit, fast.

@calidan777: At the current rate of exchange you would've spent 97 USD if you bought ODST full price. It's a lot of money to spend on a game that you could complete in an afternoon and multiplayer content you could mostly get elsewhere.

I can understand that, but I'm assuming that these outlandish prices carry over to all games and not just Halo 3: ODST, which would mean that ODST is still fine in terms of value compared to other games out there.
