I've been wondering who is doing most of the voice work for this installment?
 
Normally IMDB has a pretty good list up but it lists Halo: Reach as the movie project, not a videogame like 3 or ODST.
Can anybody shed some light on the major roles (Noble Team and such) or provide a list?
 
Aside from Nathan Fillion as Buck I didn't recognize much voices!
And to give this topic some discussion value, what is your favorite voice actor for the game?
Campaign or Firefight wise!
 
I personally like Buck's voiceset for Firefight, but I'm a Nathan Fillion fan...!

I really cant stand Kat, I don't like the voice work, and her A.I seems much worse than the rest of the noble team. It seems she cant interact with warthogs, i've pulled up next to her many times and she just stands there like a lemon. She even got into the driving seat whilst i was alongside of her and she didn't drive anywhere.... 0_0

I think you can, try looking in the Start Menu options, and change the setting from AUTOMATIC (default) to ALWAYS. I have no idea if this is the case or not, I don't use them, but I think i recall this option from Halo 2 onwards.

Aahh, just reread what you said, the actual stuff they say whilst running around, yeah, that's a bitch.

GYSGT Stacker! DO I LOOK LIKE AN AMMO BANK TO YOU. He's been consistently top notch throughout the entire Halo series.
 
Interestingly enough the guy who does the voice for him also did Keys in CE.

I'm pretty sure Aisha Tyler voiced a marine I assisted at some point.

Steve Blum plays some of the marines/PDF. Surprise, surprise.

@Artemesia:  Are you sure it was Steve Blum ? It wouldn't be surprising in the least but I can't find his name in the credits.

Bungie said in their PAX panel that for a lot of the voices they tried to pick people with accents that weren't easily discernible to give the feel that they were from far-off human colonies.

I like the guy who plays master chief. Since he is also the multiplayer announcer.
My bad. He just sounds the same.

Steve Blum has like, MAYBE four lines in the entire game that I've noticed thus far. But I've heard enough Steve Blum in the last year alone to say with 95% certainty that it was him. I could pick that suave, gravelly voice out in a crowd these days.

Is the guy on the radio the guy from the Real Men of Genius bud light commercials?

I had that problem with her, she wouldn't get in. To fix it, I got out and puched her in the face. She worked fine after that. "

Is Auntie Dots voice actress the same one as the ship computer in Dead Space?  Sounds exactly the same to me.

Anyone else find that they -have- to play an F Noble 6? The male voice is so generic sometimes I have a hard time telling if 'I'm' supposed to be speaking or if it's just some Military grunt on the radio. Setting Noble 6 to Female variant seems to clear it up, as there's almost no other female voices going around (and you sound nothing like Kat or Dr. Hulsey)
 
Side note: I didn't know Parkman and Chuck were in this game...how silly.
